August 21 by Christina Tiplea Filed Under: Self-Employment

Are you interested in becoming self-employed and being your own boss? Don't miss this inspiring interview with a Nutritionist and Running Coach for the insightful advice she offers other aspiring Solopreneurs who desire to take the plunge into self-employment!Today I have a fun treat for you! I’m sharing my first post as part of an informative new series that I decided to start up.

I’m going to be interviewing Solopreneurs about how they started their businesses and became self-employed, as well as a peek into their “typical” day and what advice they have for others who are also aspiring to journey down the path of self employment.

They might have a few contractors for hire, but do not have any full-time employees and have the full responsibility of running all aspects of their business on their own.

I am considered a Solopreneur in running my freelance business and I thought it would be really insightful to interview some fellow Solopreneurs in different fields and pick their brains a bit! [Read more…]

Wondering how to decorate your home for fall within a budget? Here are 5 easy and inexpensive fall decor ideas that are practical too!The start of fall is so refreshing to me. As much as I love summer, there’s something about the crisp air, colorful leaves, and fun fall activities that I really look forward to.

This might be a little on the early side, but I usually like to put my fall decor up shortly after labor day weekend. By the end of August, I’m ready for some cooler weather and being able to wear sweaters and jeans on a daily basis.

I love fall decor, but I’m not the craftiest person and can’t make half of the cute things I see on Pinterest. So I tend to gravitate towards inexpensive options that require zero crafting on my part, and don’t take up a huge amount of space when I need to store them after fall is over. [Read more…]

Do you wake up feeling rushed and stressed out?

As a natural night owl, waking up early in the mornings has never been much of a priority to me in the past. I would either wake up to rush and get started on work, or wake up to Little Miss screaming for me to come get her.

Not exactly a serene way to begin the day on a peaceful and enjoyable note.

I have been very intentional with my morning time and getting out of bed well before I need to lately though, and I’ve noticed how much it’s really helping me set myself up for a day of success and fulfillment. [Read more…]
