Have you been feeling rundown and just overall exhausted by the race that your life has become?
Feeling like you always need to be committing to more, being more, acquiring more? Life doesn’t have to be this way. You have a choice and the power to end the madness and end it today. Wondering how?
The answer is this: simplify.
Easier said than done, am I right? Ah, and perhaps you don’t even know if you are ready to simplify. If that is the case, I encourage you to read on my friend.
Here are 3 signs that you are ready to embrace a simpler life:
1. You crave more experiences and less stuff
When you envision looking back at your life near the end, you hope to see a life that was filled with wonderful memories you’ve created with your loved ones. You truly believe that experiences are what make life enjoyable, not the items that we fill it with.
You are tired of spending weekends cleaning & organizing and filling your calendar with obligations you are less than excited about, as it all cuts into precious time that could be spent doing the things you actually want to do.
2. You enjoy just being
Having a still mind and simply being. Perhaps it is time you’d like to use for reflection or meditation, or maybe it’s doing yoga or going for a walk/run.
It’s important to make time for stillness or activities that make you feel more centered and give yourself the opportunity to reflect on your inner desires.
3. You are tired of rushing
Rushing to get out of bed to turn the alarm off in the morning, rushing to get the kids ready to get out the door, rushing on your drive to get to work, rushing to get that report done, rushing to get dinner ready. You are at the point where you’re so damn tired of all the rushing you feel as though you’re on the brink of a breakdown.
Considering how many directions we are being pulled in at any given point in time, it is very easy to forget that life isn’t a race to the finish line. Living life more slowly comes with many rewards. If you move too quickly, you miss the beauty to be seen around you or the opportunities for joy that are right in front of you.
If any of the above applies to you, I invite you to join me on a journey to simplicity. Subscribe to receive upcoming posts I will feature to learn exactly how to go about simplifying and claiming back your life and your time to spend as you please.
It’s never too late to have a fresh start, and you owe it to yourself to stop living in chaos.

I am trying to simplify but I have a hoarder husband in poor health who keeps acquiring more stuff. Big machines, small machines, things for my house. I don’t buy anything that I don’t need. I have been doing this for a few years now and called cheap by a few people. It s a problem because the husband is leaving garages full of stuff to the ceiling. I am disturbed by the mess.

This inspires me a lot about how people are constantly growing in life. That’s what we think is the best time to develop in years, or even months, what could be. You tell me exactly how I feel now and how I see my misery.
