Hi Friends! How are you?!
I’m so sorry for going MIA the past few weeks, but I promise I have a good reason!
(If you subscribe to my newsletter, you’ve already known my fun news for a little while – so if you aren’t already on my newsletter list, be sure to click here to subscribe as I’m better at giving updates there than on the blog lately).
Life has been the best kind of busy lately, as our sweet baby boy made his debut at 1:51am on September 22nd π
He weighed 10 lbs 10 oz and was 22.5 inches long….we all joke that he’s going to be our linebacker someday, hah! His big sister (our 2-year-old) is enamored by him and I feel super thankful that she seems to be handling this big change in her world so well.
Despite the craziness that comes with a newborn and toddler in the house, we are truly enjoying being a family of four and feel “complete” now with our little guy in the mix!
I look forward to jumping back into blogging again sometime later this fall (or sooner if I can get my act together over here), and appreciate all of you being so understanding with the various breaks I’ve needed to take this year. You are the most supportive readers I could ever ask for, and I’m so grateful for that!! π
Thanks as always for being a part of this awesome community!
How is YOUR fall going so far? Please leave a comment below to let me know – I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks so much Marian!
Mariana says
What’s his name? π
Christina Tiplea says
Hi Mariana! I’m a paranoid weirdo and don’t like sharing my kids’ names online; I refer to my 2-year-old daughter as “Little Miss” in this space but have yet to decide what to call my son – any suggestions are appreciated! hah.
Mariana says
Totally get it, Right after I asked, I actually realized that you would not answer. Ha! I remembered you call your little girl ‘Little Miss’. I am sure you will come up with a nickname that will fit your little boy just right. π
Looking forward to your blogging come back. Not rushing you though, I am sure you have your hands full. Xx
Christina Tiplea says
Haha! Thanks so much Mariana!! π

Congrats!!! What a big boy! My youngest was born 4 weeks premature at 7.1 lbs! They said if I had gone to term they expected him to be around 10-10.5 pounds! I’m so glad y’all are doing well! Enjoy your new bundle of joy!
Christina Tiplea says
Thank you Bridget! Holy smokes, that IS big for a 36 weeker. You bake big babies too, hah! π

P.S. Fall has been nice with walks, camping and cleaning up the garden. They baby made me forget the question……

Congrats on the addition. You definitely have a little chunkster there. Meanwhile, my little guy is 4 months old and 10 pounds 10 ounces!
Also, I love your idea of referring to your daughter as little miss. I’m super paranoid about sharing information of children on the internet. I just might copy your idea for a cute nickname and using it when referencing my son on the blog.
Christina Tiplea says
Thanks so much Terri! Aw I can’t believe your son is 4 months already, time flies! And absolutely please do copy haha I know several bloggers that do this actually π
Neena says
